A covered verandah surrounds the house with access from the living
area and all bedrooms. The BBQ can be moved
to any part of the verandah or deck. The deck area is popular for dining and
entertaining with lots of space and easy access to the kitchen. Outdoor
speakers provide background music.

Getting Active
Take

out or walk up the track behind the house to the top of Tapeka Point
where stunning 360 degree views await.
Play volleyball or cricket in the reserve next door. The all tide swimming beach is
sheltered from prevailing winds and swells. There are no rips or undertow. From the
beach you can walk to Tapeka Point or around the rocks at low tide to two secluded
beaches.
New Zealand green lipped Mussels can be harvested at low tide from the rocks around
Tapeka Point which is
popular with surf casting fishermen
