providing easy access to the verandah, deck, grounds and beach. A high sloping
ceiling
compliments the nautical theme and
ornaments with a Cape Cod feel.
The wall mounted marine chart of the area is always a conversation point as fishing and diving spots are discussed.

verandah providing shade and protection in the event of rain. Three leather sofas seat 7-9 comfortably. Nautical instruments on the wall indicate the state of the
tide, humidity, temperature and time. |

Kitchen
The modern granite kitchen is fully
equipped to cook up a feast or serve purchased food. Appliances include twin
dish drawer dishwashers, double door fridge / freezer with ice maker and
chilled water dispenser, gas cooking hobs, thermo bake oven, microwave, food
processor, cocktail blender, coffee grinder, slow cooker and toasted
sandwich maker.
It is well stocked with crockery, serving platters,
hors derives trays, utensils, BBQ tools and all you would
need to entertain a large group. The return and breakfast bar provides room to move and ample food
preparation areas. The pantry includes tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, spices and
flour.

unlikely event of inclement weather, a selection of board games are also

The large rear
room doubles as a games room or second TV room. This room also includes
a large TV, DVD player and Stereo system with MP3 cable and USB memory stick
inputs. This will keep the children and teenagers amused and assure some

Audio Video Entertainment
The Bose home
theatre is equipped with a sub woofer and 5 satellite speakers around
the living room providing full Dolby 5.1 surround sound when watching TV
programs and DVD movies.
Outdoor deck speakers can play a different
sound source from that being played inside. For example the kids could be
watching a DVD inside and the adults listening to some Cafe Del Mar from
an iPod on the deck. In addition to the DVD player there is a 6 disc CD
player, iPod dock and cable for other MP3 players to be connected.
The Sky satellite TV decoder provides crystal clear
New Zealand and international content including BBC, CNN, Fox News, MTV and Disney.
The 32" wide screen LCD TV can be viewed from anywhere
in the living room or swung round to be viewed from the deck. TV sound
can be applied to the deck speakers but we are sure you will prefer to
watch the passing boats or go for a swim.
