- Preference is usually to BBQ food with meals served on the
deck table. Enjoy the million dollar views and romantic sunsets as you dine

A good all tide concrete boat ramp is just metres away. There is ample off street parking with a covered garage.
The large grass area
provides ample turning room and parking for boat trailers close to the house.

| Fishing Equipment - there
are some basic rods, hand lines and a tackle box available
for guests. A
tackle shop in Cass Street Russell has any other gear you may require and also hires complete fishing sets with bucket and
bait - or they can arrange trips and charters |

- A stainless steel sink bench with water,
drain and overhead light is located behind the house fixed at an ideal
height. This is must for any fisherman and makes preparing the days

| Mooring - The private mooring in front can be seen from the house. It has a 4 ton
foundation suitable for vessels up to 15 metres long and has a
draft of 5 metres at low tide. An all tide boat ramp is
at the beach only 100m from the house. The beach also
has a marked ski lane. This is the closest launching point to most Bay of Islands destinations making
Tapeka Del Mar the perfect base if you are bringing a trailer boat or have a charter
launch / yacht |

Home Theatre
Tapeka Del Mar has the most advanced audio-video
entertainment system offered by any NZ accommodation provider. The system
comprises an Onkyo home
theatre with Bose surround speakers, HDTV, Sky satellite decoder, Blu-ray/DVD player.
AppleTV and iPod dock. Outdoor deck speakers can play a different sound source. Gadget lovers can WiFi stream music and media from Smartphones and
Tablets via AirPlay and Bluetooth. Download free Apps to control
the system (or turn it on the old fashioned way!). You can even listen to
Internet radio stations. With the beach and the views watching TV should be a
low priority but there is nothing like relaxing on the deck listening to your
favourite music.
